Weekly Classes :
Morning classes - Tues /Wed /Thurs - 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
Evening classes - Wed / Thurs - 6 pm to 9 pm.
Our classes are small to facilitate individual attention to students.
Fees: R2000 pm. Includes all materials and firing.
Once-Off session:
Booking essential. It’s a 3-hour session and you will be introduced to hand-building and throwing on the wheel. Standard glazing color will be provided. If you wish to decorate the pieces you made, you can book another session which will cost R 350 per person.
Fees :
R 600 per person - standard glazing colors OR
R 950 per person - 2 sessions with 2 weeks apart . ( R 600 to create and R350 to decorate the ceramic pieces )
Handbuild
Our team of experienced instructors is dedicated to guiding you through the art of pottery-making using various techniques such as pinching, coiling, and working with clay slabs.
Whether you're a novice or an experienced potter, we are here to help you create unique and personalized pieces that reflect your creativity and vision.
Throwing on the wheel
Making pots on the pottery wheel is called Throwing.
Our master potter Sindie Moyo, handholds you in every step to create beautiful bowls, plates, planters, etc.
It takes many hours of practice to master the art of throwing on the wheel and our studio is well equipped for you to achieve that.
Decorate
Decorating ceramics involves painting, glazing, carving, and adding textures or patterns.
We teach you to experience all the techniques involved in decorating your unique pieces.
Our studio is equipped with Underglazes, glazes, colored slips, and the tools necessary for making your pots unique.
